I’m Karin Forno, aka bushiethepoet. No, I am NOT a Bush fan. The name comes from a nickname my brother gave me years ago, “Bushwhack” based on a cartoon character from the 60s. Bushie for short.
I’m a doctor (family practice), English professor at California State University Stanislaus (part time), and full time poet and writer.

I coach writers and poets and lead workshops and seminars in poetry writing, writing in general, academic writing, and business writing.
